Managing Tasks

Introduction

Tasks are easy to manage with the different folders that help you organize them within the Tasks icon in the Navigation bar. Tasks due today can also be viewed from the Dashboard icon of the navigation bar. Click on the number of tasks due today and it will jump you directly to the Tasks icon in the navigation bar.

Completing Your Tasks

Your tasks are organized in different folders to help you quickly find the tasks you need to complete. For example, tasks due today are found in the Today folder under the New section. Tasks marked as Favorites are listed in the Like folder of the Favorites section. The Overview of Tasks section explains the differences between these folders in more detail.

To complete a task:

  1. Click the Tasks icon in the navigation bar.
  2. Click on the folder that contains your task and select the specific task.
  3. Before completing your task, if it is attached to a contact and you need to communicate with that contact via phone, email, etc., click on the communication bubble to the right of the task name.
  4. Scroll down to the Completed section and turn the Completed switch on.
  5. Click the Save button in the upper right corner of the screen.


Once completed, the task will be removed from its current folder and moved to the Completed folder within the Label section of Tasks.
Editing a Task

To edit a task:

  1. Click the Tasks icon in the navigation bar.
  2. Next, click on the task folder that contains the task you wish to edit and select the task.
  3. If you wish to mark the task as a Favorite, click on the gray heart icon to the right of the task name. Once the task is marked as a favorite, it will turn red. Click it again to un-mark as a favorite.
  4. Make any additional changes by simply clicking the field you wish to edit.
  5. Click the Save button in the upper right corner of the screen.
